Zapotec is an apartment-style community for sophomore students. Zapotec offers 1-3 bedroom units with double-occupancy rooms. Room types are based on availability and cannot be guaranteed. The license agreement period for Zapotec is 9 months (academic year). This apartment is located on the west side of campus near the Tony Gwynn Stadium. Residents of Zapotec are permitted to occupy their room during university break periods.

Zapotec is a member of an indigenous people living in and around Oaxaca in southern Mexico.
