Health and Immunizations
All SDSU students are able to visit Student Health Services at the Calpulli Center. Student Health Services (SHS) is staffed by fully licensed and certified health professionals. No-cost and low-cost medical services include:
- Outpatient evaluation and treatment of common medical problems
- Preventative care
- Health counseling
- Psychiatric treatment
Specialty care services including Dentistry, Optometry and Orthopedics are available for additional fess. All services are provided at the SHS offices in the Calpulli Center.
The Student Housing License Agreement states that:
- Proof of measles and rubella immunizations are required of Licensee. Licensee's immunization record must be on file in Student Health Services by the end of the first term of school. The Office of Housing Administration may require proof of this.
- First-time freshmen will be provided information about meningococcal disease and the availability of a vaccine. Licensee is required to complete the Information About Meningococcal Disease and Immunization online.
- Licensee stipulates that Licensee does not have a health condition that poses a risk to others in a group living environment.
