Residential Learning Community Classes

Below are examples of classes residents are typically enrolled in based on their Residential Learning Community (RLC).  

Emerging Leaders Program: Students in this community are typically enrolled in the first course of the Leadership Minor, ARP 2015 (Exploring Leadership) and University Seminar. 

Business Floor: Students in this community are typically enrolled in BA 100b Exploration of Business and Economics 101.

Journey to Entrepreneurship: Students in this community are typically enrolled in BA 100b Exploration of Business.

Health and Healing Professions: Students in this community are typically enrolled in Sociology 101 and University Seminar. 

Physical Fitness (P-Fit): Students in this community are typically enrolled in University Seminar. 

WiSE (Women in Science and Engineering): Students in this community are typically enrolled in Anthropology 103 and University Seminar.

Men Engaging in Technology and Science (METS): Student in this community are typically enrolled in Anthropology 103 and University Seminar.

Toltec House for Undeclared Majors: Students in this community are typically enrolled in Theatre 160 and University Seminar. 

Army, Navy, Air Force ROTC: None Assigned by Residential Education Office (REO). 

Journalism and Media Studies: Students in the community are typically enrolled in Journalism and Media Studies 200, 210 and University Seminar. 

Future Education Professionals: Students in this community are typically enrolled in Psychology 101 and University Seminar. 

Visual and Performing Arts: Students in this community are typically enrolled in Theater 100 and University Seminar. 

Language Village: Students in this community are typically enrolled in Linguistics 101 and University Seminar.

Pre-Law: Students in this community are typically enrolled in Philosophy 101 and University Seminar. 

Social Activism and Global Environments (SAGE): Students in this community are typically enrolled in Geography 102 and University Seminar. 

Pride House: Students in this community are typically enrolled in University Seminar. 

Discover San Diego State: Students in this community are typically enrolled in University Seminar.

Adventures in Surfing and Sustainability: Students in this community are typically enrolled in Sustainability 100 and University Seminar. 

Nursing: Students in this community are typically enrolled in several science-intensive courses such as Microbiology, General Organic and Biological Chemistry and Human Anatomy. 

Honors Residential College: Priority for this community is given to students admitted to the University Honor's College.
