Summer Housing 2021
Applicants must be enrolled in one or more regular SDSU summer courses with a valid RedID and in good academic and judicial standing to be eligible to apply for summer housing. Students enrolled in courses with SDSU Global Campus are not eligible. Exceptions to these requirements will be considered, but must be requested in writing and approved by the Office of Housing Administration prior to the submission of the summer housing license agreement.
Summer housing is available at University Towers and Aztec Corner only. Incoming freshmen will be assigned to University Towers. Rising sophomores, juniors, seniors and above will be assigned to Aztec Corner.
Students may select a double or single-occupancy room. Single-occupancy rooms in Aztec Corner are limited. Room types are not guaranteed and are based on availability. Click on the building links above to view the virtual tour and included amenities offered at the selected community.
- First available move-in: Monday, May 24 at 10:00 a.m.
- Last available move-out: Friday, August 13 at 10:00 a.m.
A completed application is required seven (7) days prior to desired move-in date.
University Towers (Incoming freshmen)
- Double-Occupancy Room: $1,590 for thirty (30) nights ($371/week)
- Single-Occupancy Room: $1,830 for thirty (30) nights ($427/week)
Aztec Corner (Rising sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students)
- Double-Occupancy Room: $1,050 for thirty (30) nights ($245/week)
- Single-Occupancy Room: $1,260 for thirty (30) nights ($294/week)
A 30-night minimum is required. After 30 nights, residents are charged a weekly rate that will not be prorated. Payment plans and postponements are not available.
The optional summer meal plan includes a $75 declining balance per week. You may indicate interest for the summer meal plan on your summer housing application. Meal plan funds must be used by noon on the day you move out. Refunds are not available.
The summer housing application will be available starting April 1, 2021. To apply for summer housing, please contact the Office of Housing Administration at [email protected] to be given access to the application. Once you have access, you will be able to apply on the Housing Portal.
For reasonable consideration, please apply at least one week before your requested move in date.
Students may cancel their summer housing license agreement with no additional fees by giving notice to the Office of Housing Administration at least fifteen (15) days prior to their approved move-in date.
To cancel, the student must send a cancellation letter to [email protected]. The cancellation letter must be emailed (or postmarked) no later than the cancellation deadline. It is the student's responsibility to contact the Office of Housing Administration to ensure the cancellation notice is received by the deadline.
