2026-27 Sophomore and Upper-Division Residents

Building Breakdown Chart
*The chart above indicates total bed spaces in each sophomore community (not total available for room switches). Use this chart to see the likelihood of a room switch to a specific building.

Sophomores and upper-division students for the 2026–27 academic year may request a room or building change by completing the Pre-Occupancy Room Switch Request Form. Pre-occupancy room switch requests will be processed from April 6–July 31. To access the form, sign in to your SDSU email account. Only one request is permitted per resident. If we are unable to accommodate your request before move-in, you will need to submit a Post-Occupancy Room-Switch request in September.

There is a $30 processing charge for pre-occupancy room or building changes that are accommodated. For changes or questions about the request, email [email protected].

2025–26 Residents

The Post-Occupancy Room Switch Request Form for the 2025-26 academic year is now closed. 

There is a $100 processing charge for post-occupancy room or building changes that are accommodated.
