RezCon Computer Support
RezCon provides dedicated computer support for the residential communities. Our services include troubleshooting internet connections, software installation, virus removal and more. We are located in Cuicacalli Hall.
Students can connect to our Wi-Fi network by connecting to eduroam with their SDSUid. Guests to the school may use SDSU_Guest to connect temporarily. In order to connect to eduroam, please use this website: https://it.sdsu.edu/internet/eduroam.
We do not offer any hard-wired connections (ethernet).
For Smart TV, Xbox, Playstation, Roku, and Apple TV, connect the device to the SDSU_Guest, wait for a few minutes and then turn off the device and unplug it from power for at least 30 minutes. Plug the device back in and turn it on. Reconnect to SDSU_Guest. It should be now be connected to internet.
Our network has not been designed for any screen-sharing technology such as Chromecast or Apple TV's AirPlay. Additionally, we do not support many uncommon smart devices which rely on LAN, such as smart bulbs, smart outlets, and other smart-home-style technologies.
For printers, please purchase a USB cable. We do not support wireless printers.

Before contacting RezCon about your Internet connection, please try the following:
- You may not be connected to the AP. Disconnect from "eduroam" or "SDSU_Guest" and reconnect.
- Make sure you do not have any interference from a microwave, television, etc.
- Run a full scan with your antivirus program to make sure you do not have a virus.
- If you have an older computer, make sure that your wireless drivers are up-to-date.
