Upper-Division and Graduate Student Housing

For upper-division and graduate students, on-campus housing is limited and may be available on a first-come, first-served basis. For housing purposes, "upper-division" is defined by years of enrollment (students in their third year or beyond) and does not refer to class standing based on earned credits.

Upper-division and graduate students who wish to live on campus may join the Housing Interest List.

Housing offers are limited and extended on a first-come, first-served basis. To be considered, students must complete the Housing Interest List on the Housing Portal

The Office of Housing Administration will begin reviewing submissions in April and will continue monitoring availability throughout the summer leading up to move-in.

If space becomes available, students will be contacted via their SDSU email with details of the housing offer available at that time. To accept the offer, students must complete the license agreement on the Housing Portal by the stated deadline. Students who do not complete the license agreement by the deadline will remain on the Housing Interest List for future availability.

Submitting the Housing Interest List form does not guarantee on-campus housing.

Because on-campus housing is not guaranteed for this population, upper-division and graduate students are strongly encouraged to explore SDSU-affiliated and non-affiliated housing via our Off-Campus Housing resource page.
