About
Aztec Corner is an apartment-style community for sophomore students. Aztec Corner offers 1- and 2- bedroom units with double- and triple-occupancy rooms. Room types are based on availability and cannot be guaranteed. The license agreement options for Aztec Corner are 9 months (academic year) or 11.5 months (through summer). This community is conveniently located on the west side of campus, near Viejas Arena and the Aztec Recreation Center (ARC).
Fun Fact
Aztec Corner is made up of three separate buildings (Aztec Corner A, B and C). Select units include a balcony or patio.

Construction Impact
As part of SDSU’s Evolve Student Housing project, construction is underway on University Towers East, a new residential community. Construction will continue throughout the 2026-27 academic year. University Towers East is expected to open in fall 2027.
The project is part of SDSU’s strategic priority to offer additional and financially competitive on-campus student housing.
Aztec Corner is located near the construction area, and residents will receive communications to their SDSU email regarding construction hours, expected noise levels and any changes to the project schedule. For more information, visit the Evolve Student Housing webpage.
