Construction Impact:
As part of SDSU’s Evolve Student Housing project, construction is underway on two key facilities: Tarastec, a new residential community, and Templo del Sol, a new amenity building. Work will continue throughout the 2025–26 academic year, with both buildings expected to open in fall 2026.
The project is part of SDSU’s strategic priority to offer additional and financially competitive on-campus student housing.
Chapultepec is located near the construction area, and residents will receive communications to their @sdsu email regarding construction hours, expected noise levels and any changes to the project schedule. For more information, visit Construction, Renovation and Improvement Projects.
