Maya & Olmeca
About
Maya & Olmeca are traditional-style residence halls for first-year students. Traditional-style halls are co-ed (single-gender by room) with communal restrooms on each floor. Maya & Olmeca have 200 units with triple and double-occupancy room types. Room types are based on availability and cannot be guaranteed. Access to the floors of Maya & Olmeca is exclusively via stairs; there are no elevators in this community. This hall is located on the east side of campus near The Garden Restaurant.
Ancient Aztec Meaning
The Maya contributed the calendar, writing, a college of mathematics, astronomy and corn agriculture. The Olmecs developed unique art and are known for their colossal monuments.
