University Towers
About
University Towers is a suite-style residence hall for first-year students. Suite-style halls are co-ed (single-gender by suite) with a private restroom shared by suitemates. University Towers has 135 suites with two double-occupancy rooms. Room types are based on availability and cannot be guaranteed. This hall is located on the west side of campus next to University Towers Kitchen.
Fun Fact
University Towers has an on-site, full-service restaurant named University Tower's Kitchen (UTK).

Construction Impact
As part of SDSU’s Evolve Student Housing project, construction is underway on University Towers East, a new residential community. Construction will continue throughout the 2026-27 academic year. University Towers East is expected to open in fall 2027.
The project is part of SDSU’s strategic priority to offer additional and financially competitive on-campus student housing.
University Towers is located near the construction area, and residents will receive communications to their SDSU email regarding construction hours, expected noise levels and any changes to the project schedule. For more information, visit the Evolve Student Housing webpage.
