Zapotec is an apartment-style community for sophomore students. Zapotec offers 1-3 bedroom units with double-occupancy rooms. Room types are based on availability and cannot be guaranteed. The license agreement period for Zapotec is 9 months (academic year). This community is conveniently located on the west side of campus near the Tony Gwynn Stadium.

Zapotec is a member of an indigenous people living in and around Oaxaca in southern Mexico.
